The Role
The CSA’s primary objective is to provide engineering input into the projects to enable the project to be constructed safely in the most cost-effective manner on time and under budget.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering roles, with a focus on energy projects and infrastructure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards related to civil, structural, and architectural engineering (e.g., Eurocodes, IBC, ASCE).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects from concept to completion, preferably in the energy sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Mainland Europe as required.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Company Workplace Health and Safety and Environment systems and legislative requirements.
- Maximise project efficiencies.
- Drive a high-quality Product behaviour – “Perform all activities once and the right way”.
- Contribute to the achievement of Zero LTI’s.
- Being involved in implementing or creating innovative, cost-efficient construction methodologies and techniques.
- Working actively with site manager and workforce to eliminate the requirement to do activities again.
- Manage in conjunction with Site Supervisor, projects which have been delegated by the Project Manager.
- Produce construction programs for projects together with site team.
- Continuous monitoring of program throughout the life of the project ensuring milestones are completed on time.
- In conjunction with Project Manager, planning the resources required to achieve the construction program (plant, labour, and subcontractors) and sourcing.
- Planning and implementing the procurement of materials and subcontractors to achieve construction programs.
- Preparation and analysis of end of month project costs report with Project Manager.
- Monitor of environmental controls where the risk to the environment is serious enough to require monitoring.
- Promotes safety and demonstrates safe behaviour.
